French Lottery Draw Schedule and Results

When each French lottery is drawn, where the official winning numbers are published, and how the prize tiers work. For live numbers, go straight to the operator; we tell you exactly where.

Live numbers

Winning numbers are not published on this page. Check the official source for the game you played — links below. We would rather send you somewhere reliable than show figures we cannot guarantee are current.

Draw schedule

All times CET. Sales close before each draw, and earlier still if you play through a ticket service.

Pan-European

EuroMillions

2 per week

Tuesday and Friday, drawn in Paris around 21:00. Five main numbers from 1–50 plus two Lucky Stars from 1–12.

Every French ticket also carries a My Million code, which guarantees one French millionaire per draw regardless of the main result.

National

Loto

3 per week

Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, drawn around 20:30. Five numbers from 1–49 plus one Numéro Chance from 1–10.

The jackpot rolls over until won, with a rule that forces a payout after a set number of consecutive draws.

Daily

KENO Gagnant à Vie

Every day

Every day at 20:00, seven days a week including holidays. Pick 4 to 10 numbers from a grid of 56; 16 numbers are drawn.

FDJ changed this game on 3 November 2025. Before that date the grid held 70 numbers, 20 were drawn, and there were two draws a day at 13:00 and 20:00. Any guide still describing that format is out of date.

Where the official results are published

Results appear on dozens of sites within minutes. Convenient for a quick look, but only the operator’s publication counts for a claim.

  • fdj.fr — the official source for EuroMillions, Loto and KENO in France.
  • The FDJ app, or scanning your ticket at any FDJ point of sale.
  • Your ticket service, if you played through one. It checks your ticket automatically and notifies you of a win.

Watch out

If you receive a message saying you have won a draw you did not enter, or you are asked to pay a fee before a prize is released, it is a scam. No legitimate lottery asks for money to pay out a prize.

How the prize tiers work

EuroMillions

Thirteen tiers. The lowest pays out for two main numbers and no Lucky Stars, which is why the overall odds of winning something are around 1 in 13. The jackpot rolls over until won or until it reaches the €250 million cap.

Note: EuroMillions changes on 30 September 2026 across all nine participating countries. A new number matrix, a fourteenth prize tier, higher jackpots and a new ticket price take effect. This section will need updating.

Loto

Prizes run from matching the Numéro Chance alone up to the jackpot. Amounts below the top tier depend on ticket sales and the number of winners, so they vary from draw to draw.

KENO

What you can win depends on how many numbers you picked and how much you staked. Picking fewer numbers gives shorter odds on smaller prizes; picking ten and staking the maximum gives the longest odds and the biggest payout. An optional multiplier is drawn separately.

If you win

  • Keep the ticket. Without it there is no claim, however well you remember the numbers.
  • Small prizes are paid at any FDJ point of sale, or credited to your account if you played online.
  • Large prizes require identification and are handled through FDJ directly.
  • Claim deadlines apply. Check the period for the game you played; it is not indefinite.
  • French lottery prizes are not taxed at source, which surprises most international players. What matters is your own country’s rules. See our tax guide for non-residents.
