France has five main draw games, all run by La Française des Jeux (FDJ) and supervised by the ANJ. This page compares EuroMillions, Loto, Keno, the EuroMillions SuperDraw and Loto du Patrimoine on ticket price, draw days, top prize and the chance of any prize. Online lines on this site are quoted at €5.50 for EuroMillions and €4.49 for Loto. FDJ shop prices are €2.50 and €2.20.

Price, odds and tax

A 1 in 6 chance on Loto means any prize, including a refund of the Chance number. EuroMillions pays a cash prize about 1 in 13 times. The jackpot odds are 1 in 19,068,840 for Loto and 1 in 139,838,160 for EuroMillions. FDJ reports about 60% of revenue paid back in prizes, about 20% to the French state and about 2% to sport, culture, veterans and public health. That is a company-wide split, not a percentage printed on one ticket. Only Loto du Patrimoine is a heritage edition, and this site does not publish a share of the €3 ticket.
